RLR was founded in 2001 by team owner and driver Ryan Lusk at the age of 15. Ryan is a second-generation race car driver. Ryan had a successful racing career that ranged from 2001 to 2008. Ryan retired from racing in 2008 after the birth of his son. Racing is a large time commitment, one he did not want standing in the way of being a great father. Ryan secured many qualifying and feature wins over his 7-year racing career. Racing in both Mini stock and Thunder car divisions at his home track Bud’s Speedway Formerly Island speedway in Sydney, Nova Scotia where Ryan raced the number 90 after his Dad and Uncle then later on the number 83 for his final season as a tribute to his favorite NASCAR Drivers.

Ryan moved to Ontario in 2013 to pursue a new career and be closer to family after the birth of his daughter. Ryan attempted to race at Ottawa’s Capital City Speedway in 2015 but after a car was purchased the track has shut down for good. Ryan spent the 2017 and 2018 seasons honing his skills and knowledge about racing working in the Canadian NASCAR series for Avion Motorsports as a Lead Mechanic and fabricator and with Simone Autosports as a pit crew technician. Ryan's drive for racing has never left. Ryan completed in online racing from 2017 until 2023 on both NASCAR season 2003 and the more notable Iracing platform. Ryan is Looking to fulfill his goal of racing again. Ryan is looking for sponsorship for the 2025 racing season running with the very competitive Outlaw Midgets Racing Club Presented by Canadian Tire Innisfil. Your sponsorship will aid in the purchase of a top quality race car, top quality safety equipment and all fees and consumables associated with racing.
